Heavy rains in Makhachkala, Derbent, and Dagestanskiye Ogni have caused severe flooding, leaving 60,000 people in Dagestan without electricity. In the capital, the private sector is particularly affected, with approximately 20 houses flooded in various areas. The floodwaters have also swept away more than 30 vehicles, exacerbating the situation.

As a result of the flooding, 14 districts in Dagestan, including Makhachkala, are currently experiencing power outages. To assist those affected, rescuers are conducting evacuations using boats to ensure the safety of residents in the impacted areas.
