Kazakhstan achieved a record-breaking milestone by exporting 13.4 million tons of grain in the 2024-2025 marketing year. This marked a significant 47% increase from the previous year, representing the highest volume of grain exports in the country in the last two decades.
Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Azat Sultanov, revealed this achievement during a government meeting, stating that the harvested crop will not only meet domestic market demands but will also enhance the country's export activities. Currently, 3.4 million tons of new harvest grain have already been exported, indicating a nearly 20% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, with the export potential estimated at around 13 million tons, as emphasized by Sultanov.
