North Korea Allegedly Includes Duty to Launch Nuclear Strike for Attempt on Kim Jong Un in Constitution

According to South Korea's National Intelligence Service, new amendments to North Korea's Constitution were allegedly adopted during a session of the Supreme People's Assembly in Pyongyang.

Reportedly, the new provisions entail automatic use of nuclear weapons in response to a threat against the nuclear forces management system. This implies an immediate response without further deliberation or decision-making.

Given that Kim Jong Un is the supreme commander, any attempt on his life could be seen as a threat to North Korea's nuclear capabilities.
