Suspect Detained in Theft of 110,000 Soms in Bishkek

On October 28, 2025, a citizen named U.N. reported to the Police Department of the Leninsky District of Bishkek about the secret theft of 110,000 soms from his home in the residential area of Ak-Ordo. A criminal case has been launched under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Following investigative and operational actions, law enforcement officials have apprehended the suspect A.T., born in 1981. A.T. has been placed in custody for further inquiry, with the Leninsky District Court ordering electronic surveillance (ankle bracelet) as a precautionary measure.
