Cis Leaders Meet in Dushanbe for Summit

A summit of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by leaders from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Zhekshenkulov praised Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov's UN address representing the Kyrgyz people's stance, considering it a crucial response to external pressures. The expert viewed the meeting of CIS leaders and their agreement on joint decisions as a positive development amid the challenging political landscape.
