In Central Asia, there are currently 24,000 companies with Russian investments totaling $38 billion. The figures were revealed during the Second Expert Forum "Central Asia - Russia: Agenda for Joint Development" in Dushanbe on October 11, emphasizing economic and humanitarian cooperation prospects.
The forum highlighted the importance of enhancing investment and production connections between Russia and Tajikistan, with the latter hosting 330 enterprises with Russian capital. The Director of the Center for Strategic Studies in Tajikistan expressed confidence in the region's increasing economic interaction and the development of new cooperation directions, replacing traditional business activities.
Experts foresee that expanding Russian investments in Central Asia will lead to collaborative ventures, innovative technology adoption, and deeper integration in sectors like energy, transportation, industry, and education.
