Unknown infectious disease outbreak in Africa - Russian doctors dispatched to the scene

In Burundi, East Africa, authorities have identified 35 cases of a mysterious virus, leading to 5 reported deaths. All infected individuals had contact with each other, and containment efforts have been successful thus far. Extensive testing for various diseases, including Ebola and yellow fever, has all come back negative.

The symptoms of this unidentified disease include fever, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, abdominal pain, fatigue, and in severe cases, jaundice, anemia, neurological symptoms, and breathing difficulties. In response to the outbreak, Russian public health experts have been deployed to Burundi to support containment efforts.
