Mayor of Ufa, Ratmir Mavliev, was detained and taken to the Investigative Department building. The questioning is linked to the sale of a land plot owned by the "Rainbow" sanatorium. Two deputies, Rustam Khaziev and Agaragim Kagirgadzhiev, were also detained alongside Mavliev.

The city administration and all municipal services are reported to be functioning normally despite the developments.
