Belarus to Launch Satellite for Space Weather Monitoring

Belarus is preparing to launch a 10 kg satellite as part of the Union State's "Complex-SC" program to assist in predicting magnetic storms. The satellite, intended for space weather monitoring, is fully assembled and awaiting launch in a prepared container.

Sergey Zolotoy, the director of the "Geoinformation Systems" enterprise at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, confirmed that the ground infrastructure is in place for the satellite launch. The scheduled launch date for this space weather monitoring satellite is set for December 2025.
