A 16-year-old ninth grader with mental health problems, who was reportedly bullied by classmates, shot two fellow students in Gulyaevich. The teenager, known for his isolation and lack of hobbies, purchased an air gun from a marketplace with the help of his mother.

The injured 15-year-old students are currently hospitalized with wounds on their back and thigh, following the shooting incident.
