A train derailed in the Belgorod region following an emergency braking triggered by an explosion on the railway track, resulting in one person sustaining injuries. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, disclosed that the train driver on the Razumnoe - Tomarovka route had to abruptly brake upon detecting a two-meter segment of missing track, possibly indicating sabotage.
The incident involved 15 individuals on board, with a female passenger sustaining a leg laceration and soft tissue bruising on her back. She received immediate medical attention and was transported to the hospital. Additionally, the transport prosecutor's office in Moscow is overseeing the passengers' rights in light of the incident. Further investigation revealed that the derailment was caused by intentional damage, leading to a two-meter gap in the railway track.
