A theft of gold jewelry worth 224,000 som was reported on September 11, 2025, by Ch.A. at the Oktyabrsky District Internal Affairs Department in Bishkek. The incident involved unidentified individuals stealing from a residence on Arashan Street before fleeing the scene.

Subsequently, the Investigative Service of the Oktyabrsky District Internal Affairs Department launched a criminal case under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Kyrgyz Republic's Criminal Code. In the course of their operations, law enforcement officers apprehended 26-year-old Sh.T., a citizen with a previous criminal record who was under probationary supervision. The suspect was placed in pre-trial detention at the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs in Bishkek as per Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Authorities are now investigating the potential involvement of the suspect in other similar criminal activities.
