Assault on Head of Municipal Inspection in Bishkek

In the early hours, around 01:30, Mirlan Taalaibekov (Tsarikaev), the head of the Municipal Inspection in Bishkek, was attacked by four men in the western part of the city. The assault left Taalaibekov with a broken jaw, teeth, and various bruises on his head, arms, and legs. He is currently hospitalized, undergoing a medical examination, and receiving treatment for his injuries.

According to Inspector Nadyr Zhusupov, a former colleague of Taalaibekov, the attack stemmed from a car collision involving the victim's vehicle and a "Toyota." The altercation escalated into a physical assault when two individuals initially emerged from the "Toyota," followed by two more. Taalaibekov was then forcibly taken to a secluded area by the assailants. The patrol police intervened, capturing two suspects attempting to flee the scene. All four perpetrators were apprehended, found to be intoxicated following a medical test, and taken into custody for further investigation.
