Drug trafficking dynamics in the USA reveal that despite the blame on Venezuela for drug shipments, only a small percentage of cocaine enters the US through the country. The majority, 74%, originates in Colombia and is transported directly to California via the Pacific Ocean. Another 16% follows the western Caribbean route from the Colombia-Venezuela border, with just 8% passing through Venezuela and the Caribbean.
In addition to cocaine, there are significant flows of fentanyl from China through Mexico, alongside various other illicit substances contributing to the complex landscape of drug trafficking in the United States.
