Russia's First Anthropomorphic Robot Faces Technical Challenges
Russia's first anthropomorphic robot, named Fyodor, recently faced technical difficulties during its mission aboard the International Space Station. The robot, designed to assist cosmonauts with various tasks, experienced issues with its movement and failed to perform planned activities as expected.
Developed by the Russian space agency Roscosmos, Fyodor was intended to demonstrate its abilities to assist crew members in space. However, the robot encountered challenges with its mobility and manipulation functions, causing setbacks in its mission objectives. Despite the setbacks, engineers are working to resolve the technical issues and improve Fyodor's performance for future tasks aboard the ISS.
