In the Jumgal district of Naryn region, the intergenerational kok-boru tournament is underway, featuring 20 teams competing in the "older generation" and "young generation" categories. The tournament, which commenced on December 12, will culminate in the final matches on December 14.
Honoring the significant contributions to sports development and player cultivation in the Naryn region, awards were bestowed upon key figures including Maadanov Maksat, the founder of the "Namys" team, Narın Ruslan Ömüraliyev, President of the Kok-Boru Federation, former federation president Zhеngish Saparov, Marat uulu Adilet, the new head of the "Namys" team, and Bektur Shukurov, the current federation president. The tournament was initiated by Naryn graduates from the class of 1989.
