The incidence of agricultural animals' diseases in Kazakhstan has decreased by 51%, as announced by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Amangaliy Berdalin. This positive trend is a result of measures to modernize the veterinary service, including a significant increase in the use of domestic vaccines, establishment of new veterinary institutions, and procurement of specialized vehicles.
These efforts are focused on safeguarding animal health, enhancing product quality, and bolstering Kazakhstan's position in international markets. The enhanced control has led to increased meat production volumes, totaling 914 thousand tons, with beef and mutton exports reaching 60.8 thousand tons. Additionally, 16 veterinary certificates have been approved in 2025, allowing exports to 42 countries, including the EU, China, and the USA.
