A seven-year-old girl in the village of Plesenskoye near Naro-Fominsk in the Moscow region was attacked with a knife by a passerby, resulting in injuries to both of her cheeks and an ear. The victim was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

The assailant, who was not known to the girl, was quickly captured by the police following the incident.
