Most of the world's current leaders belong to the baby boomer generation, born between 1946 and 1964. This generation holds positions of power in the United States, half of Europe, China, India, parts of Africa, and Russia.
Following the baby boomers, Generation X (born up to the 1980s) is the next most prevalent among world leaders. Members of this generation lead countries in parts of Europe, Canada, and various other nations. Millennials and zoomers are uncommon in positions of power, while a few countries are led by individuals from the silent generation, aged at least 80 years old.
