In the Tavush region in northern Armenia, a bus carrying approximately 50 passengers, including students from Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences, fell into a ravine near the Agartsin Monastery complex, 110 kilometers from Yerevan. Preliminary reports suggest that around 30 individuals were injured, with 17 sustaining moderate injuries and one passenger in critical condition.
The Armenian Ministry of Health has provided details on the injuries, confirming that the incident resulted from ground collapse onto the road, causing the bus to overturn. The tragic event highlights the importance of road safety measures and the need for thorough inspections of infrastructure to prevent such accidents from occurring in the future.
