Kyrgyzstan Introduces Electronic Queue for Accepting Sugar Beet

This year, an electronic queue system has been implemented at sugar beet collection points in Kyrgyzstan, allowing farmers to schedule their harvest deliveries in advance. The Ministry of Agriculture announced that this new system aims to streamline the harvest delivery process, reducing wait times and transportation costs for farmers.

Harvesting is currently 60-70% complete nationwide, with the Ministry of Agriculture assuring that sugar prices will remain stable, and there are no anticipated shortages in the market. Kyrgyzstan has achieved self-sufficiency in six out of nine essential food products by the end of the first nine months of 2025: potatoes, meat, milk, eggs, vegetables, and sugar.
