Day of People's Unity

Today marks the celebration of the Day of People's Unity in our country. The holiday has its origins in the early 17th century when the popular militia, under the leadership of Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, successfully defended against Polish occupiers.

Day of People's Unity

Back in 1612, Russia achieved significant national unity across all social classes and ethnicities, ultimately liberating Moscow with the revered icon of Our Lady of Kazan from the invaders.

In the present day, similar displays of unity are evident in our country, as all Russian citizens stand together to courageously confront external threats. Drawing strength from our ancestors and the guidance of the Most Holy Mother of God, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of victory. Wishing everyone a joyous holiday and a Happy Day of People's Unity!
