The Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security (SCNS) has uncovered Deputy Minister of Health, S.R.S., engaging in corrupt practices within the healthcare system. S.R.S., also known as Ryspek Sydygaliev, was found to have orchestrated the systematic collection of money from subordinates for personal gain during his tenure overseeing the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of Transport.
As a result of the investigation, S.R.S. was arrested and is currently detained at the SCNS facility. Efforts are underway to identify other individuals within the healthcare system who may have been involved in similar illicit activities. The SCNS has reiterated its commitment to rooting out corruption, stating that all those implicated will face legal consequences in accordance with Kyrgyz Republic laws, regardless of their rank or social standing.
