On February 21, the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic in athletics achieved second place at the 18th Asian Athletics Cross Country Championships Fukuoka 2026 in Japan.
The team, comprising Nursultan Keneshbekov, Zhusup Sulayman uulu, and Tilekzhan Zhekshenaly uulu, secured silver medals after completing a 10-kilometer race. Japan's team emerged victorious in first place, with the People's Republic of China's team claiming third place.
