A tragic incident unfolded in Kara-Balta at the railroad crossing on Kozhomberdiev Street around 3 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was struck by the Bishkek-Lugovoy freight train. He was rushed to the hospital in a coma, where medical professionals determined he had sustained a cranial-cerebral injury, as well as brain and chest contusions. Unfortunately, the teenager succumbed to his injuries without regaining consciousness.

The Interior Ministry of Chui Region has confirmed that all required examinations have been scheduled in relation to this devastating event.
