The Federation Council has passed a law granting Roscosmos the authority to manage official housing for cosmonauts. This new legislation enables the state corporation to own residential properties in the state housing stock, determine which properties are included in the specialized housing stock, and provide housing to cosmonauts. Previously, these responsibilities were solely held by the Russian Federation authorities.
