During the parliamentary oath-taking and the start of his duties, Talant Mamytov underlined the importance of the parliament refraining from involvement in political intrigues. Mamytov highlighted an appeal from 75 elders, suggesting that if the matter had not been discussed in parliament, the current consequences could have been avoided.

Mamytov stated that the parliament's role is not to decide on the president's term or debate constitutional articles but to uphold justice by following the law. He recommended referring such matters to the Constitutional Court to prevent disputes and maintain professionalism. Mamytov emphasized the chairman's responsibility as a crisis manager during political crises and stressed the need to improve relations between the president and the legislative body.
