Three Suspects Detained in Talas for Stealing 41 Yaks

A major cattle theft case unfolded in Talas as 41 yaks disappeared from the Kara-Kol pasture. The incident was reported by a local resident in 2002 on October 14, 2025. Subsequently, the Talas District Police Department initiated a criminal case under Article 205-1 of the Kyrgyz Republic's Criminal Code, focusing on "Cattle theft."

Three Suspects Detained in Talas for Stealing 41 Yaks

After conducting operational activities, law enforcement officers in Talas identified and captured three suspects involved in the theft. The individuals include a fellow villager of the victim from Talas (born in 1983, R.K.), along with two alleged accomplices - a Talas resident born in 1982 (N.T.) and a Nooken district native in the Osh region born in 1980 (M.Y.). Currently, all three suspects are in temporary detention as the investigation continues.
